Residents from The Town Center, Inn, Springs and Gardens bundled up and went for an afternoon outing to the Botanical Center. The residents enjoyed seeing the beautiful array of flowers and plants that the botanical center has to offer.

We take being physically active very seriously at The Village at Legacy Pointe. Five days per week, each area of the community has some form of physical offering for residents. Not only does it help to keep our residents limber, but it helps to keep them alert and engaged.
Every other week, residents at The Village at Legacy Pointe enjoy happy hour! Chicken wings as well as cheese and crackers are available for snacking on. There are also beverages served to each residents’ liking.

The residents enjoyed a nice outing to the Festival of Trees and Lights on Friday November 24th, 2017. The residents got to view various beautifully decorated Christmas Trees as we walked around the convention center.
The residents of The Village at Legacy Pointe took a trip to Johnston, IA to visit the Military Museum. Several residents in attendance were also veterans, or spouses of veterans, and enjoyed viewing the variety of displays that the museum had to offer.
In honor of Veterans Day, The Village at Legacy Pointe celebrated on Friday, November 10th. Suncrest Hospice provided certificates and pins for all of our veterans. There was also a short play performed by one of Suncrest’s volunteers. The residents, and all who attended, enjoyed the display of patriotism which Suncrest provided.
