The Village at Legacy Pointe decided it was time to say thank you to our military men and women by giving back. Residents pitched in and assembled 12 full care packages for soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan. The boxes were packed tight with tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant, magazines, candy, lotion and body wipes. But probably the most important item packed were letters to soldiers from the residents thanking them for their service.
“Our residents really enjoyed putting these care packages together,” said Tammy Olson, Executive Director at The Village at Legacy Pointe. “They were excited to give back to those who have given their service to our country and had fun while doing it.”
