    This week has been a busy week at The Village at Legacy Pointe. Everyone hah flowers on the mind! The Gardens residents planted some flowers in their garden and Town Center residents had their flower arranging club. We are excited about spring and summer here at Legacy Pointe!

    ARL Therapy Dog, Bentley, comes for a visit!

    Bentley, a toy poodle, came to visit residents on this past Saturday, and the residents really loved the visit! Bentley and her owner plan to come back May 19th and we already have a couple of dates set for June for her to come back!

  • Men’s Breakfast Club

    Men’s Breakfast Club

    The Town Center residents, from our independent living neighborhood, are enjoying our monthly breakfast outing! Currently we have 3, but we are hoping to continue to grow the group. This month we tried Jimmy's Egg, next month we plan to go to IHOP!

Iowa Historical Museum Outing

Residents from The Gardens and The Town Center visited the Iowa State Historical Museum on Wednesday January 31st. The museum features 3 stories filled with the history of Iowa. We only made it through the first story, so we are planning a trip back in the near future!

Trip to the Des Moines Botanical Center

Residents from The Town Center, Inn, Springs and Gardens bundled up and went for an afternoon outing to the Botanical Center. The residents enjoyed seeing the beautiful array of flowers and plants that the botanical center has to offer.

Saturday Entertainment by Side by Side Duo

A new duo, Side by Side Duo, performed at The Village at Legacy Pointe. This group has been singing together for about a year and this is their first appearance at Legacy Pointe. They played some great songs that the residents knew, loved, and sang along with! It was a great way to enjoy the afternoon!
